Checking Canjet flights?

Does anyone know how I would be able to check on whether the flight times have changed?

The flights are all booked and so it is no longer showing online.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.:)
 
Thanks for suggestion. We've never flown with them. Would I really have to call them or do they send emails to inform passengers of time changes?

I booked through a travel agent (a friend of the family - our mothers are best friends) and she said Canjet would inform her if there were any changes so if you booked off the internet and gave them your email address I would assume that they would send you an email. Where are you flying out of and when? We fly out of Halifax on Apr.29th and our flight is full also - made me decide to pay the money and prebook our seats.

Thanks. I booked online directly. I hope they do provide emails. It just makes me nervous because we have not flown with them before and they don't seem to be like other airlines. For instance, we have to wait 6 days before to purchase the seats. Also, we can't check in online (which was really odd to me since the airlines that we have used all have online check ins).

But, I think I'll give them a call anyways, just to be sure. ;)

It says you can't buy your seats until 6 days before your flight but I bought ours last week (and got the confirmation email) and we don't fly out until the end of April. If you want to purchase your seats, I would give it a try .

Again, thanks for the info!:) I didn't know this. Last time I went online to try and purchase the seats, they told me that I can only do that 6 days before.:confused:

Wow, I'm glad I found this site - I had been waiting until the 6 day mark too!!! Although I'm not going until May.

As for the original question - if you wait until 2 or 3 days before your trip, you can check the departure times to make sure they are correct on the site.

I love that I have a direct flight with Canjet but I'm disapointed that they don't have that great of a website.

I guess I'm a little nervous hearing about other airlines making major changes to flights that I wanted to make sure I was up to date with any flight changes as it comes. I will definitely go onto the website 3 days before and check. But I was wondering if there was another way to find out (before 3 days prior), other than calling them, if the flights have changed. Since this is our first flight with them, I'm not sure about them. But hopefully, as suggested by Boncho, they will email me if there are changes. I guess if I don't receive any email, I'll give them a call a week before just to make sure.

And I do agree, I wish they had a better website set up. And I really wished they had online check in.
 
Think of it this way - if the flight isn't showing anymore, it must be full, and if it is full chances are they aren't going to change it. Like you though, I'm going to check a week before my flight just to make sure.:thumbsup2

I'm in Truro, flying out of Halifax. Looks like you might have kids in Rep. hockey too? That's one way to see the province.:laughing:

We are Canjet too, on April 21, first flight with them as well. We fly into Halifax on April 20 for the night, hope there are not to many changes. I agree the website is very difficult to navigate. Just called for seat selection $120 for the four of us.

I asked her about extra luggage/weight she told me that the ability to purchase extra weight at a better price was coming soon. However not in time for the April flights. At $20 a kilo extra weight adds up fast. Everyone have a great trip.
 
Yes, 2 of the kids are in hockey. Novice and Timbits -so we travel with novice. Down to Middleton next weekend and then I see there is a big storm headed our way - but you know NS, that'll change 10 times between now and then.

We're staying at CBR in a pirate room. I was going to do pop but then I saw that it didn't have as many bus stops and we also have a 2 yr old so that was our dealbreaker. Plus there wasn't much $$ difference between the value preferred room and the moderate standard. But then I changed to the pirate room, so I'm paying an extra 200 (around) - but still not much of a difference.

My son moved up to Bantam this year. Ever since he started playing Rep hockey we've been to rinks in places that I didn't even know had enough people to have one. Have a great trip!

I hope you don't mind, but do you happen to know what number you called to get the seat selection. I called Transat Holidays, where I booked my flights, and it sent me directly to the Air Transat seat selection line. If you could just PM with the number, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.:)

Boy, I'm really not have much luck here. I can't get onto the seat selection page, but, as I recall from about a month or two ago, it said that I can only pre select the seat 6 days prior. Hopefully it has changed. And I'll keep trying.

Go to www.canjet.com, on the right hand side is the seat selection. You just need your confirmation number from your itinerary (oh, and a credit card). The first time I tried it, I couldn't, but the second time I tried it, our seat selections went right through and we don't travel until Apr. 29 th. Good Luck!:thumbsup2

I finally got into the page. However, when I put in the information (confirmation number, name, etc) it says that it cannot find my itinerary.:confused3

Just curious, does your confirmation number begin with a letter? Maybe, I not entering the confirmation number correctly or something. I tried it a few more times and it still won't let me go pass that page.:confused3
