We are flying to Disney the day after Thanksgiving. We are bringing a Maclaren Volo for our DD7 to use in the parks, but she really does not need it in the airport. I dont, however want to have it slung in the plane with the rest of the luggage to risk having it get bent or torn up. Can I just bring it with me to the gate and give it to them there? I realize it still goes in the bottom of the plane, but I think it will be safer than checking it as luggage. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks :dog:

It's called gate-checking. Bring it with you and they will tag it. You leave it at the end of the jet bridge (by the plane door) and they load it for you. It will be set up and waiting for you at the other end. If you have a change of planes, just repeat the process.

Thanks for the reply. I didnt know if I could do that since she wouldnt actually be using it in the airport. Good to know that I still have that option. Thanks again.
