checkin cc hold question

does anyone how much of a hold they put on your cc when you check in were not charging anything to the room at all and would like to know ahead the amount on my cc i wont be able to use ty if anyone knows ty

You can choose not to have charging privelages at all if you want. Otherwise, there are three different levels you can authorize. I think the lowest is $100 and the higheset is $1500 or so.
