Check Your SW Ticket Prices!

Just got a Viva! Sale e-mail. Saved over $260 on 5 tickets! Now, some of that was SW Rapind Rewards points, so the credit went back in as points. The website is super slow and may even not work. But, I kept at it and made our changes.

We even saved money on an upcoming Las Vegas trip!

I have been trying to get on the site and keep getting an error message. I'm guessing everyone is trying to get in all at the same time!

Their site is having major issues according to the CS rep. It's been acting up for the last couple of hours and they hope to have it fixed soon.

My prices went down yesterday (well, points) from 12540 each way when I booked, to 10440. I changed my tix and got back a nice chunk of points (16800 total). Then today it went from 10440 to 9400. Changed again and saved another chunk of points

Kept running into error messages on the site but I finally got it completed! SCORE!

Click 'Change Flights' on the right hand side of the screen. Very simple, I rebooked with points this morning.

Our airfare went down right as I was booking! I used my free 50,000 points and got 4 roundtrip tix with that! I did have to switch my airport from Buffalo to Pittsburgh, though. Buffalo did NOT go down and the flight times are horrible, so we will drive an extra hour to Pittsburgh....

When do your points show up in your account? Does it take a while? I changed our flights last night to save 4500 points and they're still not in the account this morning.

They show up immediately...at least mine always have. If they aren't in there, I would call. The website was all goofy yesterday...so who knows what happened!

Thank you! Just rebooked 6 flights for a little over 10,000 points and rebooked my sister's flight for a $76 credit!

Thanks for this. I sent them an email and they called me immediately and said they didn't see any change. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I never got a confirming email either. The gentleman I spoke with told me to go back in and try again. When I did this, my flights were down even more!!! So I got 2400 back per ticket on 3 of our tickets. Woohoo!
