I have been checking for return flights from MCO to Pittsburgh daily since they released fares booked an earlier return flight than I really wanted during their big sale checked today and the return flight I really wanted dropped from 231 to 165 finally so I changed our flight to the late one.So if you are still looking check today.

I booked mine awhile ago because I was worried I'd miss out...since then the price has dropped twice and they added a more convenient flight which made me happy. I THOUGHT I could use the money credited to my account to pay for early check in...and I was wrong. So now I have a credit on my account and we never fly anywhere. Oh well...it's not a huge credit but it feels like kind of a waste now.

on our RT CT to Memphis! Now I have a credit to use to go visit DD in Florida (and Mickey of course!!)

Don't say that until after your 1st trip to WDW. You may just be using those credits sooner than you think. :lmao:

that $140 fare that went down to $111 on Wednesday is now $189! Can't stress enough the necessity of checking your flights every day, multiple times sometimes!!!

My flights went down $3 - from $119 to $116 each way! Seems so strange, but I'll take the $24 credit. :)

Glad I booked mine last week. It has gone up substantially today.

This may be a dumb question, because I never fly and have no idea how all of this works. I booked a flight for my daughter and myself for December to go to MVMCP. If the the price drops, do I automatically get a credit? Or do I just not get that money back because I purchased too early? I booked directly through Southwest's website.

You go and "change" your flight to the lower price. It does not happen automatically. The credit is Southwest credit for a future flight.

Thanks! This thread just help me save $64 for a future trip! Thanks Dissers!

I bought my late Nov/early Dec tickets with points when they first were released and have been stalking SW ever since, lol. So, my flight back went from $142/8530 points down to $129/7680 points so I grabbed that a couple weeks ago, but kept watch in case it went down more. Well, finally the other day it went up to $142 again, then $165, and then yesterday up to $251/10000 points! Omg, so glad I was able to catch the lowest point so far at $129! I'll keep stalking just in case it ever takes a great big dip back below $129! But, funny as other's just went down, my flight went way up! Our flight down I got at $142 and a few hours later it was sold out, almost all flights that day are sold out! First time I've ever seen that, but still hopeful that someday there will be flights opened up that drop way down in price, as the couple available are $322 now.

I check mine every day. I've save a little over $300 so far (that's total on 5 tickets). It only takes a minute to check, especially if you have the app :)

When are you flying? We are nov 12-20 from pittsbugh and our flights wee 200 round trip no layovers I looked a few weeks ago during the $99 sale

Another daily SW stalker here.

Our trip to Orlando in 2 weeks was $206 RT from Louisville. I don't expect better than that. We booked 10 days ago. Those rates fluctuate daily and are much higher now.

We have a short trip to BWI in early August, That was $201 RT. It's $222 now.

Our trip to Anaheim was $397, then dropped to $337 RT. It's over $400 today.

Also rental bookings vary. Our Orlando rental for a car started at $348, we jumped on $181 for the week. The LA trip started at $258 for an SUV, that's down to $198.

Check daily, but honestly the rates are higher Fri-Sun.

Yeah, mine went UP this am. I've been watching them for a month and they've fluctuated between $610-$670 rt for the 3 of us. I didn't book because I was hoping for them to drop under $600. Today it's $730. :(

I've heard that Saturday isn't the best day to purchase airfare. The one I am watching is up today from last night too...
