Checked online this morning & my package, which I had paid off Saturday morning, showed a balance of $9.66, due August 15 (my 45-day-out date). When I called CRO, the CM said that Saturday evening their system updated totals, etc. to reflect the new tax increase. So anyone checking in Sept. 1 or after with a package that has been paid in full, may want to double check to see if they actually have a balance due!

Just wanted to add that this morning's CM was the 2nd to tell me that if I had paid off my package by August 1, I wouldn't have had to pay the tax increase.

I paid off our trip on August 3 (our 45-day mark). I checked my ressie after reading your post, and it has not added any extra tax yet. I will keep this in mind - just in case it is due now or when we get there. Thanks for posting!

Just FYI, originally I was told by a manager that Paid in Fulls would not be effected, so I would not need to notify my clients. I have since been told, they can not do that and anyone staying after 9/1 will pay the increase. If you are paid in full, they will just charge you upon arrival. They are not cancelling any reservations with those small balances and not expecting everyone to call in small payments.

Another paid in full who's total due still shows $0.00. We arrive Sept 16th
