I'm with ya. Not too happy with Shop Disney this morning. Turns out they charged me four times for $93 for my failed attempts to get the Peter Pan backpack... little acid in the wound to tie up my money but no backpack to show for it.

I wonder if these items are even getting back in stock or the website is glitching? I saw on a FB group that people that did have an order go through for the backpack ended up getting a cancellation email right away.

Yeah, I saw the cancelation post. Difficult to know what to think or believe these days. All I can add is I've not received any cancelations on MMMA merch I managed to get last week when random items appeared on shopDisney. A few of those items are on the UPS truck this morning, I should know for certain very shortly if I'm the new owner.

I do think this mornings Peter Pan and King Arthur items were just glitches though unfortunately.

I could be that there were a few of each item available and some lucky folks snapped them up, which is why we are still seeing the items on the site as Sold Out. If that's the case, lets hope that some awesome DISers nabbed them and not some eBay flippers.

I called Shop Disney to see if they could remove the pending charges (nope, just gotta wait 3-5 days) and the person I talked to said it was a glitch and he doesn’t expect the Peter Pan backpack to come back in stock. His exact words were “If I were you I’d stop trying.”

Grain of salt but could be true.

Unfortunately the pending charges are usually out of the vendors hand if they’ve already voided them out, you have to wait for your bank and the merchant bank to reconcile it.

My bank account is a mess with both pending charges and actual charges from Disney that don't match my orders. Their sending out the orders piece meal resulting in split up charges with weird tax amounts. I'm hoping that the shipments come with packing slip/invoices to help me figure out whether I've been charged correctly (doesn't always happen). At this point, I'm pretty sure I didn't receive free shipping on at least one of my orders. I'm going to wait until everything arrives and make one monster call to Disney to reconcile everything.

I do think the Peter Pan items are truly gone. It was the most popular Merch Pass event out of the three for MMMA in my observations. I've given up hope for the King Arthur backpack as well. I am still hoping against hope that I can snag the POTC ears. I had them in my bag last week and since they were a pre-merch pass item, maybe they will show up again. That's what keeps me searching daily.

It wasn't just a dream, your shipments are on the way. Yay!! Still have three items out there. One has made it to my state but is probably two days out, the other two haven't shipped yet. I really hope they ship soon. Still can be cancelled and that would....UGH. I won't write it.

EDIT: I got the Dumbo ears, but the Hip Pack didn't make it though checkout. I missed the 65th DL Loungefly Back Pack by about a minute. It was one the site and gone in a flash. Easy come, easy go!

EDIT 2: I kept trying and I got the Dumbo Hip Pack through checkout! Yay!!!! Have to pay for shipping, but that's life. Didn't want to risk losing it with hesitation.

Be careful with the King Arthur ears. They show as available. Whenever I try to add to my cart, it says out of stock. So who knows if they have stock and add it, then people buy it up right away before the site can catch up.

For sure, I'm still waiting for mine to ship from snagging them last week. The other two from the same order (PP & IASW) came today. No sign of the KAC.

This is what the backpack was doing last night- I’ll throw my warning out again so people don’t end up in my boat... don’t use the app bc it lets you get too far and charges your card before the site realizes it’s not in stock. Stick with the site- it seems to stop you before you get too far to get charged.
