Anyone else get the e-mail with Pin # from Disney today for stays starting 11/02?

If so, what kind of rate were you given?

I was quoted GF Lagoon View for 4 nts for $1,267.00

Is this good?

I got $90 off 'select' deluxe hotels. Prices start at $109.

I got the same thing 90 off at 109 a night. I'm going 10/03 and 4/04 so that won't help me any.

I received the same email. I called and it looks like the discounts are the same as the AP rates.

They did not have availability at WL for Dec 17 arrival with the code. I had WL booked for $144, but I would have to buy an AP.

With the code and pin she quoted me:

AKL pool $166,
AKL Savannah $177

Poly GV $189
Poly GV Concierge $262

I guess we might just have to try Concierge this tip. Shucks!

floridafam....what are your dates? And does that total include taxes? If that is for regular season it is a great rate....lagoon rooms are $455 a night plus tax!!! I am keeping track of all the discounted rooms at GF to compare for our April stay.

Wow! I need one of those emails. I'm paying $340 for the Poly on Oct 18 -- 1 night only and no tickets. No discounts at all. I don't need the tickets. I have a bunch of leftover park hoppers.

The code they sent me was also good for stays in October. You just have to ask.

They also quoted me BWI Concierge for 3 nights, regular season for $983.

I received an email - $79 for a moderate beginning 11-2 (can't be used 11-25 - 11-27) I called and was not allowed to use it because I had made my reservations with WDW Travel Co., and not Central Reservations. I was told that I would actually be cancelling my current reservation which would be $200 for cancelling and $200 for cancelling my flight and $70 non-refundable for ins. I told them I still wanted the flight and ins and that couldn't they hold my reservation with them on 11-25 and 11-26 and give me the new rate for 11-22 - 11-24. No, there are no rooms available for the discount during that time??????????? I'm already reserved for a room. I understand what they were saying but I don't understand why it seems to be two different businesses running from the same phone number?????? The person I talked to blamed marketing for sending out the emails. Oh well.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to cancel the current reservation you have without paying the cancellation charges.

You would think that they would let you-because it's still Disney but they won't.

Is it cheaper to go with the new code vs. your old package?

Does anyone know if this was a random e-mail or to AP holders? I've been trying to get a good rate for January and can't find anything. I'm also told te AP rates aren't out yet for January. Thanks in advance for any comments!

I am not an AP holder and I received an email. I do have my email address registered with the disney world site.

I also am not an AP holder, but am registered at Disney. Also, a Disney 'poller' took my e-mail address down last time I was at Disney World (9/02). I'm not sure which of these sources elicited the e-mail.

Is this a room only code or are UPH's included??

Mine was a code and a PIN number. I don't know what a UPH is. When I gave reservations the code he said "oh, that's from marketing." ???

Is is a room only code but I was also given the option of adding on a package at an additional cost.

This offer is basically the AP rates without having to buy the AP.

The rooms are VERY LIMITED. It's almost not even worth it.

I feel lucky to have gotten an e-mail but I called 2 seconds after receiving it and there was only one type of room at the GF available.

I called this morning to try and get ANY discount -- including AAA. She told me there was nothing for my day. She hardly even looked for the AAA discount.

Anyway, I am stuck at the $350 rate for 1 night at the Poly. Good thing I paid it off ages ago. I just hope it is worth the $$.
