Check your child's computer for security software expiration!

We check our preteen's computer and email for anything out of the ordinary often.

What did I not check? The expiration date on her security/virus software

So after many hours of teaching myself how to get rid of a truly nasty virus, I was able to get everything back to it's normal state.

Grrr..... I just forgot to check the expiration dates on a regular basis.

I was able to load McAfee in Safe Mode and was able to put Malwarebytes on there through a thumb drive. Malwarebytes is free and got rid of it. McAfee didn't So, I now have both on the computer.
