Check Your Air Tran flights!

I just happen to check our flights for our upcoming March trip and it looks like our flight home has changed by an HOUR earlier I thought they would email me or something? First time flying with them..

Ugh! Make that an hour and half earlier I wonder if they will let me get the same fare for the next day??

Emails from them are scarce. Pretty much you have to be diligent in checking.

They will let you switch flights...I have done it plenty of times..

Thanks! Just got off the phone with them and due to the time change it did allow us to book the same flight for the NEXT day at no additional charge!! An extra day in Florida isn't so bad

Checking your flights is always a good idea - it doesn't matter who you are flying on. Glad this worked out for the OP.

But we get reports here on the boards about this happening with any airline (except maybe Southwest, but they release their flights later as a result). You should be checking your flight consistently no matter who you fly with. Changes are something one should expect when flying especially when flights are booked so far out.

I only ever fly Southwest. However, I was tempted last week because even w bag fees Airtran was cheaper. But then Southwest dropped the price of their flights drastically.

Has happened to me on Delta....changed our upcoming April flight to Arizona from 6:10AM to 8AM...actually works better as we now just have a one hour layover in SLC. So it is not just Airtran.

I also did NOT receive email since this happend 1.5 months ago. I finally did get an email from Delta on this last weekend. I check my flights weekly...that way IF something happens it will have been recent and I can get it worked out. I was hoping for a change for the way home since we have late arrival but if not no biggie.
