I bought the US/IOA Excitement passes yesterday and I found this in my email box today.

Thank you for your recent purchase from Universal Orlando's Online Ticket Store.

At Universal Orlando Resort, we are always striving to provide products and services that help deliver a world class experience. In support of this mission, we would like to invite you to complete a brief online survey (about 4-6 minutes) by visiting ........... (it's a personalized link)

Your feedback is helpful and in appreciation of your time, we are offering a coupon booklet worth over $150 in resort wide savings just for completing the survey.

Thank you again.

Fred Trusty, Director of Brand & Interactive Marketing
Universal Orlando Resort

I didn't have to fill in any personal information such as name or address. Hopefully my booklet comes before we leave!

It is my understanding that you get the booklet when you get your tickets. We got the same response as you when we ordered tickets online. That was back in Feb.

How long ago did you order your tickets? I ordered mine on the 10th and didn't get anything like that. Hmmm . . .

I ordered mine yesteday (7/13/06). What type of ticket did you purchase? I might have gotten an email since it was the first day there were offering the new Excitement tickets. Crossing my fingers for you Pammy Jo!

I'd love to know what coupons are in the book!

The link takes you to an online survey. When the survey is completed and sent, it gives you a location in US and IOA where you can go and pick up your coupon book after picking up your tickets at the electronic ticket station. I took the survey and didn't write down the name of the store....the one in US is the US Store, I think. I figured it would be the shops that are located at the entrance to the parks.

The countdown has begun.....14 days till VACATION!!! :Pinkbounc

You can pick up the coupon book at Guest Services at either park.

Anyone who orders electronic tickets can get the coupon book, right? We didn't receive the survey via email, but I was planning to ask for a book. Is there 2 different coupon books? Thanks again for your wealth of knowledge. :)

It's the same coupon book. Yes, just let them know you ordered online and would like a coupon book. Each coupon is good for up to 6 people.

Does anyone know what types of offers are in it? Is it worthwhile?

Thanks :) That's the way I understood it.

dtuleya,
We got a coupon book a few years ago, when we ordered tickets & had them shipped to us. If this is the same book, there were BOGO drink specials at some of the restaurants. I think some of the restaurants may have offered a free appetizer instead. There was also a 10 or 15% off coupon for some of the stores. Unfortunately, I can't remember for certain what was in it. Like I said, it's been a few years. I didn't realize that we could ask for the book at GS our more recent visits. We'll be going next Sunday. :woohoo: If you haven't gotten more specifics by the time we get back, I'll post exactly what's in the book.

Nevermind!!! I see that we'll be there the same week. I guess we'll find out what's in the coupon book at about the same time. :teeth:

I had left a message for the gentleman who was in charge of the survey for US/IOA and he called me back yesterday. He told me they are available in the first store on the left as you enter each of the parks. Sorry, first timer so I can't remember the names of the stores.

tarheelmjfan - Maybe we'll run into each other. Just look for a clueless broad walking around with a Disney shirt on and 3 tall guys with me (i'm only 5'3") -- that'll be me!

You can pick up the coupon books at Universal Studios store at U.S and at Islands of Adventure Trading Co. at IOA. I did the survey also and printed out the last page to bring with me. Have fun. Cant wait to go back. We have not been since 92.

My family definitely looks mismatched. :teeth: My DH is 6', w/ thinning, ;) salt & pepper hair (formerly black). Our DS is about 5'9" w/ very dark brown hair. I'm 5'1" & have long blond hair. They're skinny as a rail, & I'm "ahem" not. Yep, we're an odd looking trio. :rolleyes1
