I posted on another board asking about cashing TC...well someone took the time to tell me how awful it is to use TC...as she is a hotel employee and they hold the line up and make her job harder..blah blah blah..
sheesh--why would someone bother to post this-it is not relevant to my question about the id.
Someone--go defend me-ha ha ha!

Done TC's are supposed to be treated like cash. The TC company secures them. Stores have nothing to lose.

I'm here at POP waiting for your arrival!!!! I used TC's and they took no longer than those making purchases with their room key. You sign it and that's it....no worries, see ya soon!

I posted...How Rude!!! To tell someone not to use something that is obviously an industry standard in the ENTIRE western world...

This reminds me of my last trip to WDW. We flew and the immigration (US) guy was pissed that we didn't have any passports. I said "I did not realize that they were required? I thought I could just use my ID..."

He said well yes you CAN ...BUT passports make his job easier... I am a small business owner...My top priority is not making a well paid government employee's job easier... If driver's permits were not accepted, sure I would get a passport but if the policy was that they are accepted, I expect them to be accepted and I don't want to hear how it makes his life harder...It's his job afterall...

this year we are getting passports...but not to make HIS job easier...
