Finally got around to making myself a DIS button for our backpack!! So, whatcha think?? (I took the picture before I put it in the actual plastic button so there wouldn't be a glare from the picture). If you saw it, would you say "Hi" to me?? I want to make another on for my shirt...so, you can tell from the front and not just the back! And I'll be wearin' my DIS shirt and the lime.. Look for us at DQ 6/25 & MGM 6/26 ....hope to see you there!!

I think that's a cool idea!! You did a great job. I looked all over for fellow DISers in October (and I know from the boards there were plenty of people there) but I didn't see one person with lime green on. I even brought a lime green tank top to wear one day and still nothing!! I would definitely come up to you if I saw you wearing that.

Great job! I would stop and say hi! About the lime green shirts and things, that seems to be a popular color the last couple of years, and there were lots of people wearing shirts and shorts that color when we went in Dec. I didn't say anything to anyone though, because I wasn't sure if they were DISers or not. The lime green Mickey heads, or buttons or something that say DIS would be great. I know we have DIS shirts too, but I'd be happier with a pin or something smaller.

Purple background paper and glue/glitter/pen $0 (already had at home)
Having a DIS button so other DISer's can say "Hi".......PRICELESS!

Can anyone tell me how to make one? i know i totally just bumped this up by a few months haha! do i need a laminating machine or something?

PM me if you have any other questions---All I did was get an Alien Green color paint sample from Home Depot (Mickey head shape), peel the backing off and glued it to a purple (background) piece of (scrapbooking) paper! Then, I just wrote "DIS" and my screen-name on it so a DISer would know "who" to call me! The glitter I had laying around and just "fancied" it up a little......whole job was less than 5 minutes and the button was about $1 or so at the craft store (I forget if I got it at Michael's or ACMoore??)..... but, alas, no DISer's I met......EXCEPT 1!!! I did meet "matt&jakesmom" at Chef Mickey's---but, that was pre-arranged! I did ask quite a few people wearing lime green shirts if they were from our boards! Yes, they looked at me weird when none of them were!!! Oh well! I tried! (Good luck making YOUR button!)
