check on AP rates

Does anyone know if WL offered AP rates last Halloween? I'm thinking it will be a busy week with Jersey week starting. I'll just keep hoping, but not knowing is killing me.

we are going back! November 26 this is our 3rd trip this year- we bought the APs so we are tryingto get a lot of use! And southwest must have known! they keep coming out with those low airfares!

we are also booked at the Poly LVC with the AAA rate. Fingers crossed for a bigger discount, but we knew when we booked it that we wanted to try it out, so we will keep it no matter what, but.......sure would be nice! We will be there at the beginning of our stay Oct. 8th moving to OKW on the 11th.

I can't believe my luck , I got my mail today and there it was...a sweet postcard from my friend Mickey. Called right away and of course, system was down. So, anticipation set in. I couldn't stand it anymore and I called an hour later even though the CM told me she would call me back. NO AVAILABLE ROOMS at CBR during my trip. I just got off the phone with the original CM 10PM and she couldn't find any room either for my trip. BOO HOO. I fished for info on AP's and she said SEPTEMBER! Oh my, now I have a migraine.
I do have AP's. Regretting buying them I think.
Question.... do they block rooms for AP's if they come out in October/November? What shot do I have now to get a room at 7AM when they do come out? I can't too much more. I could save close to 500 in savings.

I first tried Poly LVC when I was 6 months pregnant with baby #3 in Oct 2002. I took my DD(3 1/2) with a friend and left my wild little boy home with DH. Well on that trip I got a 45% room only discount-no AP. I fell in love with Poly LVC and can't imagine staying any where else while the kids are so young-they will be 5 1/2, 3 3/4, and 21 months. We'll be there 10/22 to 29. I knew I just had to stay there so thats why I made my reservation. We love the large room, Poly location, magical atmosphere and concierge lounge. We also bring a friend along to help out with the kids and all 6 fit in the room since baby is under 3. Here's hoping AP's come out soon so I can concentrate on work and pay for this trip!

O.K. ? What is an AP rate. I have been reading the DIS board for a month now but in the disney cruise line part, my DH said he would like to do the ride thing so i started read here a few days ago to see what i could find out. so what does AP stand for? I guesse if i spend enough time on the boards i'll figure it out, but DH says now he is starting to hate the computer, as i am obsessed with the board, i just tell him i'm saving him money, he said i'm saving him money but in the long run i'm going to cost him a fortune on Disney vacations, as we will have a 8 hour flight and i want to go for two weeks now instead of just the 7 day cruise. thanks guys way to go (hope he gets a raise)

An AP is an annual pass which allows you to enter all parks unlimited and also gets you discounts on things such as resorts etc. There are other cheaper passes also. But the break even point on an AP is about 8 days so alot of people buy them and then return within a year for another vacation.
By the way I have been on these boards for awhile and still find interesting stuff, especially on the community board for anything and everything besides Disney. There is a section on here for abbreviations which will answer alot of your questions when you see things like AP. I just recently found the technical board which helps you will computer stuff like posting a photo.
All in all this is a great board and full of great people! All of which must have pixie dust in their hair

I can get on the website and there is nothing new but I have also found that other sites have the info up long before Disney posts it themselves.........
