check on AP rates

If you don't mind me asking, what Sept AP code EWK ? So far we just have the AZZ booked for Sept. but this is the 1rst time I've heard of code EWK & I wonder if I can let my TA know about it. Thanks !

Are these two codes the same?

I called again this morning-think I dozed off, anyway, the CM this a.m. said they were supposed to be out this week. Maybe that gives us hope-Just thought I would let you all know.

OK, this is hillarious. I just called CRO and had them check the EWK code and the guy just started laughing uncontrollably. It turns out that when he entered the code, everything on his screen just came up in Greek. Still confused and, in addition, it's all Greek to me now.

Now the good news...if you can trust the CM's. After he showed the Greek screen to someone there who could actually read Greek, he came back on the phone and said that he could not talk about this or give me any info UNTIL TOMORROW. So, if I read into this correctly, there should be a new rate tomorrow morning (hopefully, in english).

That's funny! I wonder if he thought we finally broke his computer with all of our calling for AP rates

I'll have my fingers crossed that the rates are released tomorrow. It's getting really hard to stay patient

Can they really see that a day ahead of time?
Does it show codes in a pending status or something?

They are having problems with the Passholder website again. You know the last time they had a problem, the next day there were discounts for HHI and VB. Maybe they are down today because they are uploading the information on AP rates that are going to be released.

I called myself and asked about the EWK code. The CM keyed it in and then said "Oh.................................." Stone silence! She said that she knew it meant nothing to me but her screen was full of hieroglyphics! She asked someone and she came back and told me there is SOMETHING in there but they are not allowed to see it yet! She advised me to call back again later or tomorrow and see if it's visible then.

All we could come up with was that Disney was REALLY going out of their way to keep things secret! Wonder if they were having a problem with CM's releasing info before it was allowed!

I've been waiting on the AP rates too, and finally got the e-mail offer. I booked the Pop Century for December for $49 a night with this. I can't imagine that the AP rates will be any cheaper than this. My AP has more than paid for itself in the savings I had on room rates from my trip in June, so anything else is just icing on the cake for me. I'll take the e-mail or whatever they decide to offer at this time. I just consider myself lucky to have received the e-mail offer if it turns out that there are no AP rates for this time frame. I feel like the AP rates are coming, but I wanted to go ahead and book with this offer for the availabilty at this time.

I think these reports are sounding really good for us!! It seems like reports like this start to pop-up the day before codes are released!!

I booked PC for $49 a night for 10/2 thru the 5th, 3 nights with an email code. I was gonna borrow points form our DVC, but this is so cheap for a little get away and the cancellation policy is far better.

You know what's strange-2 days in a row I called, and both days they said-oh we have AP rates out until Sept.29th, so I said are you sure can you check-and they they were like "oh no, just until Aug. 28th." I thought they were talking about the public code that's already out and just got confused. Maybe the AP rates are pending. They better include October or I'm going to scream!

My GUESS is that if you've got an E-Mail or postcard rate, an AP rate won't beat it. I had the postcard rate, and the E-Mail rate is exactly the same.

this happened to me recently on our kids school website.
It was like, "WHAT is THAT!" A whole page of hieroglyphics. I asked my computer DH and he said that is what happens when information on the page can't be read properly by the computer. I asked if it was programming language and he said no, it was more like the info. on the page was being misinterpreted.

My point is, there is information on that page the CM was trying to bring up with that code.
Whether it is not ready or it is intentionally being block till 'release' time--that's another story.

Just passing this along from hubby.
I only know how to check my email and post on here--no expert am I.
