check on AP rates

I GOT AN EMAIL!!!!!!! there's hope for you guys yet!!!!. I got POP for my Dates in Early Oct. Changed Room at about 2:30 p EDT. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!!!!!

Has anyone who has gotten the postcard/email thing called about the Deluxe Resort rates? We are staying at Contemporary 10/30-11/6, and although I haven't gotten an email I'd like to get an idea of the rates they are offering........
Of course, along with everyone else I'm waiting for AP rates to come out. I keep checking this thread, have it in my favorites & everything...... :-/

I checked on AKL email rates for December. The following prices include tax:
Savannah $169
Pool $135
Standard $122

I don't know about your specific dates, but when I called to check availability for our week (10/9-10/16) at a Deluxe resort, all they had for the email rate was Concierge or Suites. There are standard rooms available for rack rate, there just aren't any available for the discount rate for our week. So, I'm back to waiting for AP rates. BTW, I got an email the 1st day they came out & called right away & there was nothing available for a standard room at a Deluxe resort for my dates.

I was whining about why I didn't get an email...so for kicks I went and looked at my profile on disneyworld.com and I had DISABLED special offers.

What a bone head!

You may still get an e-mail discount. I checked out my profile too on Sunday and found that my special offers box was disabled too. I know I would never have done that and not sure why it was that way. I immediately enabled it and got an e-mail offer this morning.

I have nothing disabled. Still did not get an e-mail (I did, however, put in my home and phone number and left nothing out!).

I checked my profile earlier today too and the special offers from resorts was not checked off. I never would have not checked off this box. All the rest were checked off. I am so afraid that I missed out on the emails because of it. Hopefully, if they send out more, I will get one.

I have been watching this thread daily and thought I should do my part and call in too. As of 4:10 Michigan time there was nothing. I was trying for the AKL for Novemember 12-14 as we are staying at the Boardwalk Villas with our DVC Nov.14-19. The standard rooms were all booked and the pool and savannah were rack rates still. The CM was very nice and helpful and was trying to get me a better rate but not yet. She said keep calling and keep trying! Hang in there you all! I have not been a lucky winner of an email or postcard code at all!

if you haven't received an email, double check your profile. I thought maybe if I logged in and "shopped" for a room but didn't book that it may help. While I was there I looked at my profile and the "receive offers from parks and resorts" was disabled. I know for a fact I did check it b/c I registered every member of my family when we were waiting for AP rates last time and the postcards started coming out. I made sure that box was checked on all of them but checking just now, 3 of them had been disabled somehow!

I just called to change my late October reservation from POR to POFQ (why not stay at the best moderate for my AAA discount!). No AP discounts. I think the CM's have been bombarded with calls, but she was still really nice.
She said that eariler they were unable to book an e-mail PIN as the person that the e-mail was sent to was a 12 year old. Now, if I were the Mom or dad would I be bummed.

I am still hoping! Keeping fingers crossed!

I just checked my profile & I didn't have the "resorts offers" checked. That's odd- every time I do something at Disney.com I always leave the box unchecked so that they are free to send me any offers......
:-( oh well it's checked now, not that it will probably do any good.
If there weren't any Deluxe resorts standard rooms available for the email, does anyone think there will be any available if & when the AP rates come out???????

OK, I received an email last week. Just for kicks, I just checked my profile at disney.com & the "receive offers" was disabled. They also did not have my correct email address. CRO has my correct information.

I went to my wife and my profiles for all our email addresses. They all have receive offers checked and nothing in the special offers sections. However, some of them did not have all of the phone numbers listed. So far I have updated 2 of them. My email said I had new mail shortly after doing one, it was from disney.....disneydeals.com. a coupon for 10% off on some sale. Could really use the discounts, come on Mickey.

First off...welcome to the Dis! The more the merrier. (this way it will reduce the per person cost when the Dis rents the MK) LOL

I went to Disney.com but where do you go to check off any offers? I looked, but didn't see anything!

You have to Log in--then go to your 'profile'. there are places to put in your name, address, etc...then at the bottom their are like 4 boxes saying stuff like..."Do you want to recieve special offers, and Do you want to recieve mailings from third parties..." Stuff like that.

when I can't find something, I always look for the "site map" link- which is exactly how I found the "My Profile" link! It's on that page- I couldn't find it on the regular disney.com page.

I think the site map link was at the bottom of the page...
