I got an e-mail today with a pin! First time ever! I wasn't planning on going (except for my DVC trip), I may have to look at the calendar! I guess 10/17 to 10/20 is the golf classic?

Any idea why you are getting the e-mails? Usually just before AP rates come out we are seeing pins with postcards, not e-mails.

As you all know, I have been calling almost everyday for October AP rates and started this thread but I did get the e-mail today!! I booked and thought I'd give you my rates...maybe an indication of what the AP rates will be. They did ask for my pin and verified my name address etc. I also tried to find out about the release of AP rates..he told me of course that AP still only goes thru August 28th , only another day to book and the only thing left for those was AKL...I asked if the end of this AP rate offer coupled with the fact that the email rate is VERY LIMITED (as per rooms available) meant that new codes or AP rates would be out this weekend, he laughed and said I really can't say anything but I wouldn't be surprised...wish I could have gotten a straight answer but I would really be hopeful for Sunday!
Back to the email code....October was very limited...I was looking for concierge... nothing available the second week of October at any of the Monorails...just Boardwalk concierge (standard or deluxe) everything was selling out quickly today...I asked if it was because they sent out so many emails...he said more that the room availability was so limited...I did get two Wilderness Lodge concierge rooms for 10/14 thru 10/15 ( right before our cruise 10/16) for $1160 for both rooms two nights each includes tax ( so about $290 a night with tax per room) asked if I could make another booking for December
and I could with the same postcard and pin Booked AKL concierge for $335 a night plus tax Dec 16th thru 20th
Hope this is an indication of good AP rates for everyone I would just say (as if you don't know) when the AP's open up get on the phone fast!!!They are swamped today!!

My AP expired 5-10-04. I signed up for the insider online on that e-mail address and also that e-mail address was used for the old Disney Club.

I certainly hope that the AP rate code that HOPEFULLY might come out Sunday will be valid thru our check in date Dec. 22. Last year's ap rate was valid thru check in date of 12/26. I know that according to mousesavers that room only codes expire before Christmas week. Any insight into this?

Its a pin that some folks are getting from a email or a post card. I booked in Dec Pop Century for $49/ night plus tax and Poly concierge for $300/night plus tax.

There is nothing new out now that is available to everyone past Aug.
Some people are getting random emails and postcards that are specific to them (lucky ducks!!) that have pin codes and cannot be shared with the public.
The rest of the posts here are educated speculation. I am relying on these guys, as they do their homework!! I will be calling 7am Sun. as per their advice.

Due to financial problems, this will be my first trip in 3 years and I didn't receive a postcard today either. I am still holding out hope that there will be one there tomorrow.

I know it's just not fair! I've been to WDW every year since 1994 and in certain years, twice! and it's not like I like near Florida, I'm in New York. Gee you'd think I'd get something saying hey why dontcha come down, here's a little something we'll throw your way. I've never gotten anything. I think it's just a random way they send out the cards or emails because I doubt they can track a "pattern" to see what type of guest I am meaning I've been a passholder and have gotten rooms that included the UPH. I just figured they eliminate me from getting something because I GO ANYWAY! LOL Why should they send me anything if I go often from a marketing standpoint.
I think they should take a hint from the casinos in Atlantic City that give discounted and free rooms to their repeat guests. (not that I'm suggesting that Disney should give anything away free, just a nice discount)

My CM was messin' with me...she asked me to verify my address after I ask her about AP rates, then she said "You're in the right place at the right time!" So I was thinking "OMG-the AP rates are finally out!!" Then she says "your address matches up." Oh well...
