check on AP rates

I should had put, No Discounts as of 7-25 Sunday at 7:00am.. But I'm not giving up..

Don't know how much of this is true but after the CM finished laughing when I asked about AP's for Sept. (I guess they are getting bombarded with calls! ), she told me "I'll be honest with you. Normally we can 'see' the rates in the system the day before they are released. I don't even see them yet".
Guess that means tomorrow is out of the question.

Can anyone tell me: Are you still able to book an AP Rate w/o an activated AP? I've seen on the "official" site where you have to have the number from the actual pass to enter the AP area of the site.

You do not need the AP in hand to book a room at an AP rate.

Actually, you don't even have to have an AP to book the rate. You simply have to have a voucher or AP at check-in.

Hi Y'all, here's my contribution to this thread. I must admit, I've been lurking, letting all of you do the calling..Sorry, you guys are one step ahead of me! Anyway, I just called to get MNSSHP tickets (finally decided) and happened to ask about AP rates, too. The very nice CM said, "no, not yet." That was at 4:40.

Hope you guys don't mind my lurking... I'll be checking back in with you first thing in the morning..Thanks for all the posting you guys are doing to keep us "lurkers" informed.

Here's more speculation.

I called this afternoon to book all our PS's and happened to ask about AP rates.

The CM said that her *guess* is that they will be out the last week of July or the first week of August. Well, I thought this was the last week of July, but anyway.

She also said they come out in two month intervals (not always true) and expects that the rates soon to be released will only be for September and October.

We'll see

I could be mistaken, but aren't they released within the "season" for example the season changes Sept.30th, therefore the ap rate would only be good until Sept.29th. If the rate has a dollar amount attached to it for value, moderates etc, wouldn't there need to be a different code for value and regular seasons.

but who knows last year's fall ap rates were released at the end of august. but, from what others have said last year they were released later than previous years. Along with those that have been told 60 days out, I have been told 90 days out and several other CM theories. I think they keep changing it to keep us guessing and see how many of us they can get registered before they drop the prices.
