Has anyone stayed at or have any experience (good or bad) for any of these Hotels:

Comfort Inn Maingate West, 9330 W Irlo Bronson
EconoLodge Hawaiian, 7514 W Irlo Bronson
Westgate Inn, 9200 West US Highway 192
Riande Continental Plaza, 6825 Visitor Circle
Island Hideaway, 3100 Sand Mine Rd.

It will just be my DD and I so I want to be somewhere fairly safe but I can only spend around $40 a night.

Don't stay at EconoLodge Hawaiian, 7514 W Irlo Bronson, this place is a dump! Duct tape on the shower walls, cracks in the doors ,you could see outside when the door was shut, dead bugs in the room! Stay away! I know the price is cheap, but it's not worth it.

This might help you. I stayed at the Best Western LBV in DTD and it was great for the $69.00 a night I paid for it. I have heard of people getting rooms there for far less on Priceline. The hotel has a shuttle service and is in DTD so you are close to everything. It's been remodled and the rooms were bigger than the ones I seen at Disney's Value Resorts and they have queen or king beds. If you use their shuttle service you won't need a rental car and that's a savings right there. I also walked across the street and got right on a Disney bus. I think it's a good deal and the hotel is very nice, safe, and clean. No bugs! Check it out and see for yourself. It will be worth the extra money, trust me.

The Riande is an older motel in a lousy location, traffic wise. The Westgate and the Comfort Inn are also quite aways down 192; there's often traffic issues on that side of 192. Try http://130.94.75.33/announcement.php?f=2 and put in your dates, and a whole list of hotels and rates will come up. You can get a deluxe room at the HoJo for about $40; nothing fancy but a great location and a good reputation, deluxe rooms are poolside and have fridge and micro.

Good job Titans Fan! I checked out that link you posted and the Hojo doesn't seem half bad to me at $40.00 a night. I would never want to stay there because I'm not in favor of staying off site but if you have a Disney itch that needs scratching and are on a tight budget it might do the trick. I think the Raddison by the main gate is a great looking Resort and I was impressed when I toured it last year. I can't believe what you get for the low rate they charge. The pools are awesome and the rooms look fine to me. The Raddison is on my list of hotels to try.

If it were me, I would bid on priceline or go with Hotwire. You can get a nice 3* hotel for around $35 - 40. I know hotels like the Sheraton Safari often come up. Check out www.betterbidding.com and www.biddingfortravel.com to get an idea about how to bid and look at what hotels have been coming up lately.
