I have 2 reservations for adjoining rooms, they are listed as connected. Will I need to go through the online check in twice, I assume yes. But will boarding time for both groups be based on the time I get through the first room check in process?

Yes - you have to check in each reservation separately. It didn't take long and we got the same PAT for both rooms. For activity/excursion/dining reservations, I could do them all together because our reservations were linked by our TA.

If the reservations are linked you can check-in for both at the same time. We've done it when traveling with our adult children. We all go up to the desk together and I give the CM all the necessary documents and forms for each cabin separately so there is no confusion. A few minutes and all we have to do is wait for our boarding number to be called.

yes, you will need to do two check ins online. no, boarding time will not be based on the time for the first room check. it will be on each individual reservation check in. if both reservations are at the same level (both new or silver or gold or platinum) you will more than likely be able to get same boarding time. if however the reservations are not the same level and you check in on different days then you may not get the same boarding time.
