We're staying at POFQ June 19-26. We arrive at MCO around 12:30 PM. By the time we get luggage, etc. and get to the resort (making travel arrangements is next on my agenda -- probably Mears), I'm estimating it will be between 2 and 3 PM.

So, how much ahead of the official 3:00 PM check-in time might we reasonably expect to be admitted?

FYI, we're laying low our first day. Swim at the pool, head to DTD for dinner and shopping and we'll start the parks the next day.

You can check in at any time. There is no guarantee that the room won't be ready until 3-4 PM. If it isn't ready they will issue room keys, provide you with a phone number to check to see if it is done. You can check your luggage and head off to the parks.

Generally our room has been ready around 4:30. We just hit the parks until 4 and head back. I hate waiting around the lobby when its not enough time to go do something, and you can't continue the day without getting that room.
