While we're staying at OKW I've booked another villa for my auntie for a few nights. At the moment the confirmation is in her name, so she will have to be there to check in. If I change the name on the confirmation letter to mine, can I go and check in for her before she arrives?

I'd suggest putting both names on the reservation.

Anyone listed on the ressie should be able to initiate the checkin process.
