I have purchased a reservation on Ebay for SSR for March 9-16. We can't check-in until the late on the 10th. Will the reservation be held. Should I call and let Disney know that we will not be there until the 10th?

If it is an RCI trade, which seems likely, calling will just get it cancelled outright as selling RCI trades is against terms.

If you don't show up on the 9th, it will be cancelled. You won't be able to contact DVC since it wasn't made using your points (you don't even own points) and Disney Reservation Center will not be able to do anything for you if it is a DVC reservation. Plus if it is an RCI reservation it will probably be cancelled. Because like _auroraborealis_ said, RCI reservation cannot be sold.

I'd advise you to arrive on the 9th or forget about it.

Added: Checking Ebay on this reservation it states a $190 fee is required at checkin. That is a clear message that it is an RCI reservation and it not permitted to be sold. I'd try to get money back on this or cancel it somehow based on fraud. The seller knows it is not permitted to be sold.

Yeah. So, just to sum up for you:
  • This reservation cannot be sold per terms of the program it was made under.
  • This reservation cannot be changed, because of the program it's under.
  • If you don't arrive on the 9th, it will be cancelled.
  • If Disney realize it's an RCI trade that was sold, it will be cancelled.
This is bad all the way through and you should grab your money and flee like a bunny.
