Check in question...Grand Gathering...

If one of the rooms in our Grand Gathering is going to be checking in later, can we make sure they are near us by checking their location when we check in?
I am the contact name on our GG, but not sure how that works.

Yes, when you check in all you have to ask is if the rest of your group is close. I did this last December and they told me all of our rooms were next to each other and we had 7 rooms. My room was ready and the others were not, but the rest didn't arrive until later. It was very easy for them to tell as it appeared to be just a couple of keystokes and a mouse click.

Also, as our family groups arrived, if the room that the individual family checking in wasn't ready, they switched it with another room in the group that was.

We didn't have any trouble last year checking in at various times. We had 4 rooms but the weren't next to each other. However they were within the same hallway. Disney called this week and verified that we would be coming on a Grand Gathering again this trip and confirmed that we would want 4 rooms again close to each other. I'm sure everything will work out fine

Wow, that's cool. I'm glad you mentioned that, so that if they call I won't have a heart attack! LOL

We're having some last minute changes in arrivals, after thinking we would all be arriving together, so I wanted to know how that all works.
