Check-In process???????

Hi Everyone,

Me and my DH are cruising in 13 more days on the Disney Magic, 9/6-9-13 and I have a question regarding the check in process. I am wondering if everyone in the party has to be present in line for the check in process. If they do not then I figure I can send my DH to get in the embarkation line. Tackle 2 stones at the same time pretty much...........




13 more days to go, can hardly contain myself!!!!!!!

Pretty sure everyone has to go to check-in as they have to see your ID. I could be rememebring wrong though.

For security reasons, everyone has to be there with picture ID for the adults.

My family split up, the over 18s checked in and the under 18s got in line for embarkation. They sat on the floor and played cards. It really worked out well.

Hi,

Just returned today from the 8/16 Western trip on the Magic.


We were at the terminal very early and the line was already quite long. The staff seemed to understand that waiting in line was problematic for children and only required that I have the birth certificate for my daughter, she did not have to present herself at the desk.

They didn't even seem interested in seeing my DH either, I had his ID and Birth Cert, but he had to sign the express check out credit card info, since I did not have a credit card with my name on it with me.

They really have the check in and out process down to a fine art... it moves quickly as long as you have all of your paperwork and id ready and in order.

I guess you could try getting in the embarkation line, we didn't think about that....
