Yup. I’ll be b2b on the Fantasy in September. Hubby & I sail together the first week then he will head to the airport. I’ll be set to sail the second week with a friend who will arrive (obviously) after b2b cruisers reboard. I’m hoping that won’t be a check-in issue. Has anyone else done this before? If it makes any difference, I’m not the primary on either reservation.......but luckily I *am* in the same room!

It shouldn't be a problem. Our first B2B was in 2011 when DH and I sailed on a 4-night and then our adult children (DS, DD & DSIL) joined us for the subsequent 3-night. DS was joining us in our cabin, and DD & DSIL were in a different cabin. DH and I went through the B2B procedure with no issues. Our kids also had an easy time checking in.

Have a great cruise... or should I say... cruises! :)

A sailing partner did this on a B2B last year, she left the ship with us, re-entered up the escalator with the group of B2Bers, checked in and reboarded with all of us. Her first week roommate left as all other guests, setting luggage out etc, the next weeks roommate checked in with all other new cruisers and boarded when her number was called. They met up on ths ship once she boarded, and yes she had the same cabin for both cruises as well.
