No other info other than we got our hotel and our dates.

Ok that's what my contact gave me too. He said they wouldn't book airfare for us quite yet. He said our date and hotel was good and that we could plan on our trip being that week. Just makes me nervous without getting it in writing yet. I am sure I am just being a nervous nelly, but I am not going to cancel my other two vacation requests at work just yet.

We chose DL only because we live so close to DW and go so much; the expense of going to DL is something we would never be able to afford if we hadn't won it. The Grand Floridian is gorgeous; I stayed there for one night many years ago! So funny that you guys want to retire to Florida and work at Disney; isn't that the American dream?

Yes I think it is the American dream, especially for Disney freaks! The only problem is all the creatures that live in Florida......... I might have to live in a high rise building with no chance of interaction with a snake, gator, lizards, ginormous bugs or anything of that nature.

I actually gave them information on the flights I would like. I don't know if they will book them but I sent it in my comments section. I'm sure they have a barometer of when to book your flights based on the dates you chose and they still want to get the best price just like the rest of us would.

I actually gave them information on the flights I would like. I don't know if they will book them but I sent it in my comments section. I'm sure they have a barometer of when to book your flights based on the dates you chose and they still want to get the best price just like the rest of us would.

We checked flights online pretty frequently on the dates we wanted and there were several that were the times we wanted and were reasonably priced. We requested an early flight on the way down and a late flight on the way back. Hope we get it! That was a good idea, I should have noted the ones we wanted in the comments section. So... no one ever calls on my cell - not many people even have the # anyway. But 10:52 this morning get a call - says "restricted" - I answer, and call instantly ended.
It sure better not have been my winning call that didn't go through! I would think, if it were, they would think to try calling from a different number or something to make sure to get through to me if I were a winner, right?

I asked for an early flight from here and a late flight back home - I told them a red-eye was ok for the trip back (we can all sleep) and they booked us a red-eye home

We are still waiting for our questionnaire. DH won on 2/5, I guess they just aren't to us yet.

We are going to choose WDW and hopefully the Poly for the first week of October. I'm really hoping things work out for us.

Where are you flying from?

NC but with the cost of bags for 3 adults and 2 kids, the hassle of getting 2 car seats and possibly a stroller, then add on a rental car because we can't stand relying on WDW transportation, I'm thinking it might be cheaper and less of a hassle to just drive the 10 or 11 hours.
