Check in/ FP Question..

So, our first day, our flight gets to ORL at 9 am.... we are staying at BLT.... what times should I start scheduling FP's? Problem is (IF room is ready when we get there- big IF, I know) we will go check in/ possibly nap 1-3, then do some rides/ FP's. If room is NOT ready, we will head straight to MK so maybe do a few rides, then the parade FP, then go back to room to rest and check in at 4.... so with check in questionable until day of, what do you all do about scheduling FP's for the first day? Should I do them earlier or later?

After noon.

You can CHANGE your FP+ time(s) the day-of, even after you may have missed a scheduled time.
(Of course the availability of popular attractions may be a problem.)

We always arrive around that same time. Even before FP+ we were in MK by noon.
This time my first FP is for 12:30.

I would go with earlier, early afternoon. Don't plan on getting your room until 4:00. If it's ready doesn't mean you have to go there immediately. This way once you are done you can head to your room and settle in for the night. I like to nest, so once I get into my room I want to unpack and get the room situated.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking, too. Then, if we end up checking in/ relaxing at room instead, I can try to change the FP's for later in the day (although then maybe we won't be able to get super popular attractions but alas we will get something)

We always schedule the EARLIEST flight available into Orlando. We are arriving this time (in theory) at 8:15 am. We have always had a nearly empty Magical Express coach. Last time, we checked into POR - and dropped our bags off. The rooms weren't ready, but we zipped over to MK for BOG lunch. Worked great.

This time, we're at Beach Club - and have a lunch reservation at Epcot. No real worries. As long as the ahead-of-time stuff is relatively scheduled - I'll get there when we can. I figure - why waste that day?
