Check-in date vs check-out date

We are in the process of buying a contract at BVW, so we are not yet members therefore don't have any membership material yet.

I am looking at a friend's New Member Handbook. I don't know when this book was printed, I think they've been members for 2-3 years. The handbook states: "When making reservations at your Home Resort , you have an 11-month booking window. This means you can make your reservations as far as 11 months in advance of your check-out date". In checking these boards, it seems everyone refers to 11 months before check-in date. Has this policy changed?

So if we have a Thanksgiving 09 trip planned, will we be able to book on DEC 25(11 months from check-in) or DEC 29(11 months from check-out)

Another question. If the date I can book is DEC 25, Will I be able to book on DEC 24 or 26, since the 25 is a holiday?

Yes, the policy changed just a couple of months ago. Now you can make a reservation for up to 7 consecutive days starting 11 (or 7) months from your check-in date.

I expect Member Services to be closed on Christmas day. I'm not 100% positive of that, but that's what I'd expect and plan accordingly. By the time you will be able to make the reservation you should have access to the web site and other materials and will be able to verify that. (Or call on the 24th and ask them.)

We're expecting to close sometime in early Nov, so hopefully everything will be finalized in time for us to book for Nov 09.
