Check-in @ BCV

Hi Gang,
We just returned from a week a BCV and wanted to post how check-in works. We will gave a full report of our trip shortly as we need to crash for awhile. When we arrived (10:30am) we were given a CHOICE of rooms that where ready from a map of room numbers and location. The rooms that where ready didn't fit our requests so we picked one that matched what we wanted. The room was assigned to us but was not ready so we were given a card with the phone number to call to see if it was ready. We checked our luggage and walked over to Epcot for awhile and when we returned at 1:30 our room was ready. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, room 136 which was a PERFECT location facing the Dunes Cove pool and close to everything at the main lobby. We hope this helps anyone about to check-in there.

Thanx for that info, Donald Duck 57. That sounds like a great deal for those who can get to DVC early.
We will be driving from Vero to VWL bright and early, come our October trip!

Thanks for the report. Our first trip to BCV is -- well its counting down below!

Looking forward to getting away for 11 days, although we start with 3 nights off-site at the Worldgate Renaissance (free stay we needed to use).

Is there a floor-plan of BCV online anywhere? We're staying there in January.

Sounds great for early arrivals, but I wonder about the experiences of folks who arrive late(like we will) say around 8 or 9 pm.

Bicker, I haven't seen a floor plan, per se, but Doc did put together a nice map that shows in which areas the various rooms are located and their likely view. I think the whole thread is helpful, so I've got it bookmarked. (It pays to get up in the wee hours of the morning when the board's search function is working. )
