When you check in at the VWL I know you check in at the WL but will the bellmen still help with the bags? I'll be stopping by the store before I arrive to pick up a few things... so I will have alot more then normal??

Thanks

Yes, the bellmen still help you with your bags if you are staying in the villas.

WOW!!! now that was fast....

Thanks mckryan!!

LOL...I had just clicked on the folder, and there was a post I was sure I could answer!! You have to be quick around here sometimes!

Enjoy your trip to VWL! We were there in May, and we had a great visit - once we moved from the smoking section! I had always wanted to stay at the WL, and I'm so glad I did.

In fact, the bellmen were more than anxious to help when we arrived about three weeks ago. We chose to park first, then hauled our own bags to VWL. Not that much of a walk. When we checked out, we called for assistance because we were going to have them hold our bags while we made our last day a fun-filled one. Had a CM knocking on our door within 5 mins! DW was still drying her hair. LOL

As for VWL, it is superb. Enjoy your stay!::yes::

When we checked in in August we had lots of grocery bags. The bellman was more than happy to take all of them with our luggage. In fact, we tried to carry some of them, and he said no, he had them all. He hung them all up on the hooks at the top of the baggage cart. You will have no problem.

Enjoy your stay. We loved ours.

We just returned from VWL from a trip during the first wk of September. Check in was great, we arrived at 12:30pm and our 1 bedroom room was ready, The bellhops brought all our bags plus food and water which we had just purchased at Publixs by DTD right up to the room.

Don't forget as a DVC member Valet parking is for free at all DVC resorts. You are expected to tip the person who brings your car back though.

We had a great trip and our transfer to Saratoga right before Hurricane Frances worked out fine. We drove over around 9:00am and our room was available there also.

Bell services at the Wilderness were very nice along with ALL the Valet personal. Scott at the check in desk was so helpful, one of the best CMs I've experienced.

I'm really glad this is where we purchased. The trip to MK was great, used the buses to the other parks with no real waiting time.

The water resort, Mity boats were alot of fun especially on the large lakes.

Went to sing along and marshmello roast and movie at the camp grounds and had alot of fun and no real problem getting to and from via boat and bus.

Don't worry, everything will be great.

If this is the first time going to vwl, don't forget to eat in Whispering Pines and ask for some ketchup ( Ha, Ha).
