check in at the deluxes ??

Possible July 4th weeekend at WL.

We'd like to arrive at the hotel just late enough as not to have to wait to get to the room. Arriving Fri, 7/4 for 2 nights. The start of the 'value' season at the deluxes. Do you folks think noon-ish will work?? TIA.

It's really impossible to tell. Check-in is officially at 3:00 but there MAY be rooms available earlier. I've arrived around noon at deluxes and have had rooms be available then and I've also had them NOT be ready and had to store my bags and come back later to get the room assignment. You can still check in then and get your room key; they usually give you a card with the number to call to find out when the room is ready and what your room number is, so at least you don't have to stop back at the desk.

Yes-We've also had it happen both ways-arrive at noon
and room was ready . Other time-luggage was stored
and we went 'exploring' for a while.

It is hard to say. I have checked in at 1:00 pm, and have had my room ready, and other times not....
If you check in at noon, I'd say you have a better chance off a shorter line, although, I have never experienced really long lines at the deluxe resorts......

Just arrive whenever is convenient for you. If you want, you can call the resort ahead of time, to ask if your room can be ready by noon... it might work!

It's hard to say, but if I understand you, you are checking in on July 4th. That's one of the busiest weekends of attendance at WDW, so things might be a little slower. Just give your baggage to the bellman and go enjoy the parks. you can call your hotel from City Hall or Guest Services in the parks and they will let you know if your room is ready or not.
