Check-in and Walmart

While the Payroll Cards for Florida-Site Disney Internships & Programs Participants are administered by Partners Federal Credit Union, it isn't actually a Partners FCU account.

Also, it should be noted that Disney Internships & Programs Participants at the Disneyland Resort in California do not receive payroll cards at this time, and will need to make alternate financial arrangements in order to receive their wages.

All Walt Disney World Resort Disney Internships & Programs Participants, are able to choose between having their wages placed on their DI&P-issued Payroll Card, into their own personal bank account or issued in the form of a paper paycheque. You will be instructed on how to make these changes during the Onboarding process after your arrival.

Direct Deposit allows for the electronic transfer of your wages into your personal account (or payroll card) each payday. This is a much faster method than obtaining and depositing a paper paycheque, allowing you quicker access to funds.

For Florida-Site DI&P Participants, Direct Deposit onto the provided payroll card will be set up automatically. If you would like to have your pay deposited into your personal account, you will need your financial institution's Automated Clearing House information, which can be found at the bottom of most U.S.-issued personal cheques or by contacting your bank or credit union.

Do you know if we can use the same card or since it isn't actually an account we have to get a new one if we come back for another program?

Lindsey you're probably going to be busy most of that first day (too busy for a bus) because you'll have check in at 9 and then you'll have to go to casting took about 3 or 4 hours for me to get out. Then you'll have to go to the housing meeting took about an hour or so. I'm not sure how late the buses run that day. I would really encourage you to find someone with a car who will help you go that night! :)

Maybe I didn't pay attention to the bus though since I had my car but we seemed WAY to busy that day. I went to Walmart at like 8pm...not sure if the bus to there runs that late.

That should be "way too busy.":thumbsup2

I never said that it wasn't an account, just that it isn't a Partners FCU account. They administer it on behalf of another bank.

You can certainly reuse your payroll card if you so desire. You should have received the ACH information for the card in the documentation provided along with it. Just update the account information in the company's records.

However, I do believe all arriving Participants are now issued new cards automatically and will have their Direct Deposit preferences set to the new card automatically, so it may be more convenient just to use a new card.

I read something about classes what kind of classes just thought it was a work program

The classes aren't mandatory at WDW (not sure about DL) but they vary fom course to course. Basically teaching the basics of Disney business side I think. I didn't take one though.

The Disney College Program allows it's Participants to Live, Learn and Earn at the Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resorts. The Disney Education Classes, which are mandatory for Participants at the Disneyland Resort, provide Participants with the opportunity to expand their horizons by combining academic knowledge with Disney know-how.
