Check in and Magic Bands

I was just wondering if when you check in at a WDW resort are they able to check your Magic Band to make sure all your reservation and fast passes are loaded correctly on it? It would make sense to do it then so that you don't have problems later in the park.

Nothing is stored on the MagicBands. Everything (including MagicBands) is linked to MDE profiles. The MagicBand is just a key to reading the data stored on the MDE profile.

yep there is nothing loaded on the Magic Bands. The bands don't do anything but read the information stored in your MDX account. If you have park passes and FP on your account, the band should be able to read them.

But they can check and make sure the band is connected to your MDX account and is working properly.

Yeah, it seems the problems come from faulty scanner or a magic band that is having issues with it's "magnetic" powers. Neither of these can be taken care of before you start into the parks.

They will be able to see what you have linked on it but you will have to make edits on your account. A smart phone or Ipad/laptop is a good thing to take should this edit be needed. I had to adjust a few things on our Spring break trip.
