Check Cashing at the Swan?

We'll be at the Swan next week. Can I cash checks at the front desk? (not travlers checks)

I know SPG gold and platnum members (Starwood Preferred Guest) are allowed check cashing priviledges at both the Swan & Dolphin.

Any guest can cash checks at the front desk. atrying to remember, but I believe it's 200.00/day (if they happen to have that much in the cash drawer--if not, then obviously it's a lower amount--and this does happen).
Some SPG members (Platinum and Gold, for sure) can cash checks for larger amounts, but I'm not sure of those amounts.
