Hi all!

Just a quick question for my mom! In her quest to find the cheapest airfare for her trip in APRIL, she has stumbled upon the site Cheapoair.com. Now I am completely unfamiliar with this company, and am VERY leary with using someone who is unfamiliar to me. I advised her that if she wanted to go the discount site route, to go with the more known names such as Expedia, Orbitz, Priceline, etc. While I understand and agree with trying to stretch your pennies as far as they can go, I am very hesitant to go with a name I don't know, but she is the type of person who will drive 20 blocks out of her way to save $.02 on gas , so as soon as she sees the lowest fare around, it's "book it" time. So tell me, have any of you heard of them or used them, and if so, how was your experience with this place? Thank you in advance!

Cheapoair.com looks really good price wise because the price they quote you is before taxes and fees. If you go to the next page and see exactly how much they are charging your credit card they are more expensive than if you were to buy directly from the airline.

Some airlines (American) guarantee their rates to be the lowest through their own website. If you find a lower rate on the same day you pay for you tickets through their official site (same itinerary, etc) you fill out a form and submit it and they will match it.

I've never done this. However, I did read American's guarantee when I found flights cheaper at CheapoAir. CheapoAir just doesn't have the times I want.

Personally I would rather have American's guarantee policy.
