We are staying at Coronado Springs & will have a mid-week non-park day (at least I think so...............).

Trying to determine the cheapest way to get to the Outlet Mall just up I4 above Bahama Breeze & the Marriott Village. My plan is to possibly take the bus to DTD & to pick up a cab from there to the outlet center? Just seems like it would be slightly more practical to do this than to pay for a cab from Coronado all the way there?

Would love to do the same to Bahama Breeze one evening, but I imagine a cabby would not be very happy to take us only about 1.5 miles from the outlet mall to Bahama Breeze......................

Any suggestions?

Personally I would rent a car because it's going to be the easiest and fastest way for you to get where you want to go.

We did check for our time frame (prior to adding the extra day). Even with discount codes for some reason ours was coming up as $400 plus for the week. I was stunned as we have never paid more than $170 for a 5 to 6 day trip - even for conferences M to F (normally higher costs). I realize the prices vary continually & have checked a couple of times already.

I can't justify that type of rate to go to outlet mall one day & Bahama Breeze one night.

Even with a single day keep, I would still have to shuttle to the car care center the next morning to drop the car off & then lose park time.

Just looking for basically the cheapest or easiest route for a taxi.

Unless someone has a ballpark figure on the taxi rate directly from Coronado to the Little Lake Bryan area?

A taxi from the DTD marketplace to the outlets should be approx $10 plus tip.
To Bahams Breeze about $8 plus tip.

From CSR it would be approx $20 plus tip but you would save you a lot of time not having to bus to DTD and back to CSR.

I would like to do it all in one night of course, & I am sure that taxi driver will hate me if I tell him I only want to go from Outlet to BB. But maybe if I just drop him $15 for that short ride he will be happy. It should be about $5 to there from the mall & the rest would be his.

Depending on time we will probably head out via DTD & then back all the way to CS as we will realistically have packages that just won't be as fun to haul on the bus.
