I need help finding the cheapest way to get from the Sanford Orlando Airport to Pop Century. We are saving a great deal flying into Sanford on Allegiant Air versus MCO Southwest. A rental car during our stay is not necessary. Thanks!

You can use a taxi to the nearest Lynx Bus Stop which is about 2½ miles. Then take a bus to the Lynx Central Station, transferring once in Altamonte Springs. Then get a bus from the Central Station which is express to WDW, with one stop at Sea World en-route. Total fare would be $4.00 per person plus the taxicab. Elapsed time, per the Lynx ride computer, would be four hours and 28 minutes. You could get off at DTD and then get a Disney bus to Pop.

Taxi from SFD to WDW would be about $100 one way.

I would just rent a car. Try using priceline. You can get good deals and not hassle with taking a bus. If you take a taxi, you'll be spending as much or more than having a rental.

Try American coach.. it is a shuttle service. My DD flew in and out of Sanford a couple times this summer and had good luck..about 30 a person I think.

Is there a shuttle between the two airports?? From there you could take the Magical Express. It's about being a resort guest, not which airport you fly into.

But at that distance, renting a car is probably going to be the least hassle. You can look into the one way rentals with national/alamo. They have shuttles on property to pick you up and drop you off at the resorts. Although I'd check in and leave the kids at the resort with one adult, while only one person drops the car off at Car Care.

We rented a car when we were there. It worked out to be almost the same price as taking the shuttle. I tried all the different scenarios (one way rental, etc.) to try and save money, but for the extra $20 or so it cost to rent it was nice having the car for our whole stay.

It's a very easy drive - about 45 min I think.

I agree. We rented a car. Go to Mousesavers.com for rental codes and keep rebooking up until you leave for the best deal.

Our friends rent a car on arrival and departure day only and turn it in somewhere around Disney. I don't know exactly where.

Typically in Florida the rental companies don't charge extra for drop off at a different location.
