What is the cheapest Transportion to POR Riverside?

DH will be arriving later we are? So how he get to POR Riverside?

And how in advance do we need to make resv? Still don't know exact date.

DME??? How are you getting to POR??? He can take DME whenever he arrives.

We are driving to FL. DH is coming later. Not sure when. It's after the start of of our RESV. I didn't think they will give us ME execpt for the first and last day of your RESV.

Family members can ride Magical Express to Disney anytime from the first day to the second to last day of your stay. They can ride back to the airport anytime from the second day to the last day of your stay.

More specifically, anyone in your room/suite/whatever who is listed on the reservation can ride ME once FROM the airport and once TO the airport (or either way in and of itself).

So the whole family doesn't have to arrive at the same time?

At check-in, can I get his tix/room card? I would like to keep all our things/info together.

You just have to make his DME reservation...it doesn't matter when he arrives, as long as he is listed on the room reservation. Now...will they give you his room key and park passes?? Can't say for sure. I imagine it depends on whether or not you have him listed for the entire stay. If he is arriving, say, 4 days later, and you don't have him on the room reservation until the day he actually arrives? Probably not. But, if he is listed from the time you arrive, then probably.

Three different trips I've shared a room with a fellow DISer. Living in different states, we always arrive seperately. Whichever one arrives first always checks us in and gets the room keys. Whoever, arrives later just calls as their DME bus is pulling into WDW to ask where to meet up. The second person never even goes to the check in area.

That has been my experience as well. BUT....I was thinking about those situations where a family member is arriving several days after the main group. And the main group has a pkg, but they don't want to include the late arrival in the pkg until they actually arrive. Let's say they have a free dining plan, and dad is arriving 3 days later than everyone else. They won't have dad on the reservation the day they arrive, but plan to add him when they get there, so he would be active on his arrival day. Not sure if they would give a room key out for dad then..possibly hold it until he got there???
