Cheapest ticket strategy?

After much deliberating, and still not sure of my ticket choice, I think it would be cheaper to get a 5 day with hopping and buy my water park tickets seperately.

Water park tickets are $34 Adult and $28 child. With MYW, I would have to add $45, on top of the $35 per ticket for hopping. I would not use any other pluses except for one water park.

With that said, what is the best way to buy water park tickets? Any discount available?

If you want to visit a water park more than once MYW is the way to go. If you will only visit once, then a single ticket is the best way to go. The only discount I know of is an AP discount.

If you are SOG eligible, they have discounted tickets for water parks.

If I were just going to go to the water parks ONE day- there's no way I'd pay more to get it added to the park hopper ticket UNLESS.... you were also going to put non-expiration on there. Because then whatever plus you didn't use -would never expire and you could use it on another trip. That's the only other way it would be cost effective. If you're just going one day and not putting non-expire option on your ticket, there's no sense in paying for the plusses instead of buying the one day at the water park seperately.

One other thought...do you plan on going to PI or DQ? if so, then I would buy the plus option. We always go to PI at least twice during the week.

I may check out the 10 day non-expire MyWayPass . We stay for 12.5 days.
10 days in the Park and then we could do 2.5 days with pluses ?

DisneyQuest is a bit over $100 for a day for our famliy of 4.
I would guess the same price for a water park.
We could do at least 3 plus options on 2.5 days

How about the 10 day park hop MyWayPass with 14 day expiration - could the pluses be used on any of the 13 days after the 1st day - even though you can only do the parks for 10 days ?

I am getting so confused

If you're a AAA member, try going to your local office and see if they have any older tickets around. You can get them for last year's prices.
