Tell me, please, what's your favorite cheap hotel option that would work for a family of 5. And how much it would usually run?
I'm looking at all sorts of options right now. Our attempt to purchase Fairfield resort time share fell down the tube this time around, but I really want to do a trip with the family next Spring break. I've already been playing with onsite costs, but was looking at offsite.
A timeshare might not be the best option for us, as we'll prob. need to do mid week to midweek.
All I really need is clean, safe, some sort of pool. Shuttle service to and from WDW would be a plus as well.
Thanks!!!

The Doubletree Suites in DTD is a nice hotel. We are staying there for the second time this year. We are a faily of five also. Mousesavers has some good rates for this. 159 a night and that includes a free breakfast in the morning. Shuttles usually run every half hour to the parks pug:

Since you are looking for next Spring Break, I would suggest signing up for every newsletter you possibly can. You are sure to get some great specials in them. Here are some of my favorite websites to sign up for:

www.mousesavers.com
www.allearsnet.com
www.tripadvisor.com
www.go2orlando.com
www.travelzoo.com
www.flausa.com

If you could define what you mean by "cheap", that would help a lot. One person's cheap is $59, and another's is $159...

Fairfield works great for those who wish to stay mid-week to mid-week, or if you desire less than a week stay.

Check out the FF yahoo group where you can get lots of FF information. Just send a request to the moderator to join. Anyone can join even those who are just looking to purchase and have not yet done so.

FF has lots of availabiltiy in Orlando so you still have a few months to be able to book spring break 2007 and still get Bonnet Creek. A lot more units are about to be opened up there.
