cheapest flights to Hilton Head Island? Airline?

I need help, i am looking for the best way to fly into Savanah International, For Feb. vacation week, I realize that Southwest doens't fly there, So, who would you recommend next?

Go talk to a travel agent or go to one of the big travel websites like Travelocity or Expedia. A TA or those sites will tell/show you ALL of your flight options. SWA usually isn't on these websites, but since you say you won't be using them, then it won't be a problem.

The closest airport served by Southwest is Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) in Jacksonville, Florida. It's about 167 miles from JAX to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. So the drive would be around 2 1/2 to 3 hours each way.

Thus, as you've already determined, you're much better off flying into Savannah/Hilton Head Airport (SAV) or Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH).

Airlines no longer pay commissions to travel agencies for airline tickets, so unless you're buying a cruise or vacation package from a travel agent, you're unlikely to get free help with airline tickets.

A tool that I really like is Kayak — http://www.kayak.com/ — which searches multiple airline websites and online travel websites. You can refine your search to limit the results based on your preferences (nonstops vs. connections; time of day; included and excluded airlines; alternate airports).

Unfortunately, SAV and HHH tend to be expensive destinations due to limited competition and the absence of Southwest from the market.

Thanks so much, we checked out all the travel sites for deals, and flights that week are super expensive - School vacation week!
So, i think since we are planning to rent a car anyhow, we are going to fly Southwest into Jacksonville, and drive up to HHI. 2 1/2 isn't too bad ( I mapquest'ed it), and the tickets i am SURE will be cheaper.. Right now, all i can find is about 600-700.00 RT. That is crazy!!
We did a search for Southwest, and knowing they aren't booking that late yet (they are only up to january), we put in December (Christmas week) til January 1. and the flights were about 200+ cheaper per person.. and we figure that the prices Christmas week are always high, so they shouldn't be any worse come Feb. vacation.
It's not that bad, since we were planning on leaving Disney HHI on Friday, and then driving down to Savannah for a night or two, this way, we will check out on Friday in HHI, and drive down, take our time, spend one night in Savannah, and then one night in Jacksonville area.

Good plan, we were fortunate enough to have found a sweet deal with Northwest ($109 r/t with taxes) into Savannah, but all the others were $400+ so I know what you mean. HHH airport is only serviced by US Airways Express, so they have a very captive audiance. I-95 seems to move alright around those areas, so expect around a 2hr travel time....

Air Tran flies into Savannah, and SWA flies into Jacksonville. The only airline that flies into HHH is US Air, I think.
