cheapest flight from BOS week of Patriots Day

Has anyone gotten a decent flight out of Boston or even PVD week of April vaca/Patriots Day.

We were suppose to be going down next year in July but are now considering April but it depends on the flight prices.. If anyone is flying that week can you tell me what you paid and what airline.. THANKS!!

So you are looking to go school vacation week, week of 4/18? There are no good flights out there. We tried Boston, Manchester, Providence and even Hartford and could not get anything less then about $600.

If you can extend your trip to come back after April 25th, you may find better prices.

Call us crazy, but here is what we are doing (anything to get to Disney and this year, the ONLY time we can go is this week.)

We are driving to JFK and have a nonstop to Tampa at 5pm on 4/16, taking my son out of school that one day. Flight was $267, including all taxes. Offsite parking prepaid is about $160 for the stay. We are staying that night at the Tampa Airport Marriot (on points) and then picking up the rental in the am and driving to our timeshare at the Sheraton Vistana. Mysister is meeting us there; her family of 5 decided to do the dreaded drive this time.

Some people think I'm nuts, but the drive to JFK is only 4 hrs and I'm used to driving this kind of distance for work. I just couldn't see spending $2400 for the 4 of us on airfare. It's nuts!

Whoops, that $267 is round trip on American, coming back on 4/24, 11:15 am nonstop flight out of Tampa.

This is for 2011. I was wondering if anyone booked early for 2010 and got any decent prices.. Easter happens to fall on the weekend we plan to come home too which i know plays a roll here..
