Cheapest disney gift cards?

We also use Target RED card for our discounted Disney GC's, but for our Disney trip this past January we were able to use Swagbucks to pick up an additional $1800. We converted the SB points into Target gift cards, which we then used to buy Disney gift cards. We ended up keeping about $500 in target gift cards for groceries and gifts going into the holidays. But the rest became play money to make for an amazing and memorable vacation!

One thing about Target is to keep your eyes open on promos. Usually around the holidays they offer 10% off gc's, including the Disney gc if you pay with your RED card.

They aren't allowing this anymore! It was good while it lasted!!

Kroger route for me.

$500 gift card=$500
5% cash back on Chase Freedom=$475
2000 fuel points=$70 on 2, 35 gallon fillups(we do both cars at once)=$405

Charge the fuel on another CC with 3% cash back on gas stations. I've tried a Kroger gift card but can't get them to work at the gas station pumps.

Total saved: 19% currently. Varies when Kroger doesn't run 4x promos or Chase is a 1% instead of 5.

You can still buy the Disney GC with the eGiftcard. You just don't get the 5% off. We haven't had any issues, especially if you have additional items in the transaction. Self checkout works too!

Online is definitely out of the question now unfortunately. Those days were the best!

You can skip Target if you don't want to deal with getting the RED Card debit or credit card and order the $100 gift cards from BJs online (you don't have to be a member to do this). They sell their $100 Disney gift cards for $94.99, which is essentially the same discount as Target RED Card.
You can also go through MrRebates.com for an additional 3% cash back there when buying at BJ's. 5% off directly through BJ's, then another 3% off that price, and also another 1% or 2% cash back if you use a credit card to make the purchase. I bought $300 worth of gift cards from BJ's for $284.97, and I have $8.55 pending on my MrRebates.com (plus a bonus $5 I already got for first-time Mr. Rebates users), plus I got another 1% back on the $284.97 via my Disney Visa. Not a bad deal at all, 8.8% off when it's all said and done, and all online.

I haven't thought about actually walking into the store without the 5% off.. I barely use Swagbucks anymore, so I earn $25 like every other month or so. I try not to walk into a physical Target because I can't help buying crap while there.. I use the Swagbucks online to buy vacation related Disney stuff.

At this moment (through June 30) I would go through Mr. Rebates (3%) to BJ's (5%). Then use a discover card for 5% cash back. Discover is 10% cash back on the first $1,500 for a new card. The discover amount back is a quarterly bonus only effective through the end of June.

This is what I have been doing for our upcoming trip.

Does anyone know how Sam' Club records the purchases there. Are they recorded as food? Chase gives double points for premium card. Thanks
