We will need to get some aftershave and perfume soon so were going to get it whilst on hols. Can anyone tell me is it cheaper to get at the airport or wait and get it in Florida?

Thanks

Personally we always buy it at Duty Free.
There's no shortage of places selling it over there but you don't know it's genuine unless you buy it in a Department Store or similar and then you may not get it cheap enough to be worth the search.
Have a look while you are there this time then you'll know if it's worth buying there on the next trip.:Pinkbounc

I've been looking into this too as I always get some dutyfree perfume at Gatwick! It's a bit of a ritual for me - the point when I can say that I'm on my hols!!

As usual it's not quite as straightforward as I first thought, but certainly 'High Street' prices in the US are MUCH cheaper than buying perfume here in, for example, Boots.

E.g. 100ml Eternity is £52 in ordinary shops in the UK and $52 in Walmart!!(about £30)

So I was going to compare that with the price in the departure lounge shop. Easy peasy!!

Then I discovered a UK website which sold 100ml Eternity for £31-50!! So Walmart wasn't such an amazing bargain after all!

Of course the cheapest place of all is the duty free shop at the airport when you leave the US. But they may not have what you want and also you won't be able to smell gorgeous for Mickey!
