cheap time to go

If your talking resort prices...the "value" season is the best time. Rooms in the value resorts are around $70 and u can look for deals outside WDW. You can do a search on Disney website that will give u the dates for their value season throughout the year. As far as the parks...they rarely if ever, give discounts on entrance tickets. I find all of them high even with the new Magic Your Way plan. U may be able to score tickets through mousesavers, ticketmania for a few dollars off, but nothing I'd call super savings. JMO...I love Disney but I'd never call it cheap.

DH wants to go as cheapily as possible. When is the cheapiest time to go?

Well, RIGHT NOW is about as cheap as it gets.

We're arriving next week and, since we have AP's and got "the AP rate" on our room, we are paying $49.00 (plus tax) per night (2 adults) at the ALL STAR.

We're staying 11 days/ 10 nights so our total resort room bill is just about $550 for 10 nights (including tax).

I know that we will NEVER be able to stay on-property this low again, but its GREAT for this trip.

Beside the resort rates that change with the calendar, you could also check out the "Budget Board" here at the DIS. There are all kinds of ideas how to save money. Beware that rarely will anyone refer to WDW as a cheap vacation. For that, you stay home! :rotfl2:
