I remember once someone listing a website for finding cheap sports glasses for kids. Does anyone know??? TIA!!!!:)

I'm not sure of the websites, BUT i bought my son's at Walmart - About $75.00 - think thats a really good price.

I want the website too it was for cheap glasses for everybody. You had to know what "size" you wear along with the the prescription. It was on here a month or so ago.

From what I can tell, Zenni doen't have sports goggles for kids, which stinks. We have ordered glasses from Zenni before and although they are a little slow in shipping them, they are very nice glasses for the price. My son wears his zenni ones more often than his $300 pair, in fact!

I have a very difficult prescription and Zenni has done a great job for me for several pairs. only thing I didn't like is I don't think they have as nice a selection as some of the other online sites.

the blog called glassyeyes is really helpful in guiding you through the process of ordering glasses online

I love Zenni. I am not sure about kids' glasses but I got sports goggles for me and they are better than what I found at the local optometrist... and about $300 cheaper. The last few times I ordered from Zenni it took 2 weeks from order to delivery, though I have waited up to 23 days before.... that was right at the end of the year which can be busy when people are using up their health care spending accounts and plan year prescriptions.

I got my son's sport glasses at Sam's Club for around $50. You don't need a membership to visit the Optical Department.

One hit about sports glasses: Choose a stlye that allows some wiggle room for growth. If your child's perscription does not change too much you can get more than one year of wear out of a pair.

That is a great price..wonder how much they r at Costoc - i will have to check as my son will probably need a new sports pair for this year - he's been wearing his current pair for 2 years!
