Just got an email for special prices for cruises.
I just did a quick check for 3 adults in Sept 4 nights from Port Canaveral. $750 incl all taxes.
£125 each for a 4 nights cruise, doesn't get much cheaper, Also upto 5% cashback if you book thru a cashback site and use cruisedirect.com

Supposed to be good rates on other durations and from Miami also.

We haev paid £200 each for same cruise in August, thought that was cheap.

Thanks for the info Wayne, I have just emailed it to my sister who is out in Florida at the mo

Hi Wayne,

I know its early days but just a couple or 4 of questions...

How far/long is the drive from WDW?

Is it easy to park and leave your car at Port Canaveral?(We may leave excess luggage in boot)

What time is the best time to get there?

What time is best to disembark on final day?(thinking of what to plan for that day)

Apart from passport and visa waiver when we first enter US - do we need any other documents?

Thanks :thumbsup2

Hi Karen
Just some advise on posts first, Your not allowed to post thread directed to members. Only general questions are allowed, I am more than happy to answer PM's but Mods get upset if rules are broken:goodvibes

Drive from WDW takes about 1 hour.
Parking is very very easy, right across from the terminal $15/day, other option is use Budget that dont charge for 1 way rentals, office near port and free shuttles, for a 4 night cruise we could save about £80 doing this compare to parking up.
We set off at around 9-9:30am by the time we got thru at Easter it was about 11am boarded about 12noon.
We got off around 8:30am no lines very easy but it was a lot easier this time than before, other times there has been big lines.
All cruise docs will be sent to you.

Edit, I see its been merged with other thread now, I got confused then:rotfl2:

We recently cruised with RCI from Port Canaveral. We weren't allowed to go in to their car park until 2pm! All the cars were being turned around and held on a parking lot near The Disney Ship. It was a total shambles. Once they said we could start boarding, it was a free for all who could get to the gates first. The Sheriff was screaming and shouting at people and jumping on their cars to stop them, but everyone was ignoring him.

Having only cruised with Disney from there before, I was amazed at how unorganised RCI were in comparison.
