cheap loft bed or lumber

Im moving back home for awile due to money woes and the fact i miss my goofy cousins. i will be moving into a basement bedroom thats very, VERY tiny. I refuse to give up my queen sized bed. Im looking at finding or building a queen sized loft to go over the bed to use for storage (and a window perch, since the windows are higher up). My question is where would i find a cheap loft to fit over my bed or cheap lumber. This loft will not be holding a matress or anything, its just going to be for storage.

Why not make the bed on risers and then you can store under it?

I do store under, Its on risers already. Im mostly looking to go up since its a small space.

This may be a long shot - but see if any theatre company is ending the run of a show. We usually throw out some lumber or platforms and most places would let you have it for hauling it away!
