Cheap Lanyards

Although I would love to get a DIS lanyard for both my DFi and I, I really can't justify spending $7.00 USD each. Does anyone know where we could get cheap lanyards? We want to use them to hook our room keys and park tickets on to.

I saw some different ones (but not Disney) at the Dollar Store and Walmart

Haygan, I saw some at the dollar store too but they didn't have the right clip on the end. Does anyone know of any I could order online?

Its always worth looking in the Disney dicount stores in the malls for anything Disney. We got a load of cheap pins to trade there last year. The first place well be visiting this trip.

DealsatDisney.com had Stitch ones starting at $3.99. I was able to purchase these for the boys at that price. You would still have to buy a little pouch for holding your tickets at WDW (or Walmart!), however.

Right before we went in December we found some Tinkerbell ones at Claire's. I think they were about $3.99 each. My daughters liked them better than the plain ones we'd bought for them from the Disney Store. Also, the Disney store ones were thicker and heavier on their necks.

I bought lanyards at the Reebok outlet yesterday for $3.99 ea. Came in pink dk blue, lt blue, LIME GREEN, red, black and white.

Do you mean the Disney Store or what type of Disney discount store? Or is this somewhere in Orlando? Considering pin trading for our son but the pins appear to be pretty expensive and just wanted to find some inexpensive ones to get him started. Thanks.

Thank you Kathie! I saw that and sent her a pm. Hopefully I'll be one of the lucky ones who gets a freebie.

DM. DD and I purchased lanyards from Claires at the mall for about $4 but my question is how do we attach our tickets to them?

I got a pinlanyard as a gift and I got 3 other ones for free... Try looking around at car shows, sporting events or job fairs...sneak into a convention if its convenient...Microsoft roll outs have great swag. Or try writing companies...one lanyard was very similar to the Disney one except it said Michelob on it (!). Try writing beer and cigarette companies and see what you get!!!

I don't like wearing things around my neck, esp when it's hot out.

I got one of those plastic id badge holders and it has a clip at the end. I clip it to the pocket of my shorts/jeans and it's worked perfectly for several years now. I got mine free from my mom's work. But, they do sell them at Office Max and Staples.

We plan on getting the fast pass holders with a clip. Our lanyards have a hook on a ring. DH is going to take off the hook so we can clip the FP holders to the ring

I was in Target today and they have id holders in pretty colors for $2.99. The lanyards looked great for pins. If I cant find anything else I will pick up three for us. They were in the girlie notebook/folder section.

We found ours at our local community college bookstore. The college kids love lanyards and they had a bunch. They also had a id holder that will work great for tickets and fastpasses. It is plastic, so might keep the stuff dryer than in my pocket.
